Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal undertook a community service to clean the river Kali Bein in Hoshiarpur District of Punjab.
Similarly, the help of Sant Seechewal was sought to clean Buddha Nala in Ludhiana District.
Buddha Nala follows the course which earlier was the path of River Satluj. Similarly Kali Bein has a religious signficance as it is believed that Guru Nanak got enlightenment after taking bath in Kali Bein.
