P. N. Vinayachandran is an Associate Professor in Centre for Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, Indian Institute of Science ( IISc) Bangalore
He did his M. Sc. (Engg.) from IISc, Bangalore, M. Sc. Cochin University of Science and Technology and Ph.D. from IISc. Bangalore.
He has been awarded Shanti Swaroop Bhatnagar Award (Earth, Atmosphere, Ocean and Planetary Sciences), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, 2008.
