Further, the story of Slumdog Millionaire is based on a novel Q and A written by a career Diplomat Vikas Swaroop. Last year, another IFS officer, whom the nation must remember wokring as a spokesman of the foriegn Ministry, Navtej Sarna (A boy from Chandigarh) has penned historic Novel "The Exile" based on the life of Maharaja Dalip Singh, son of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. That book is also added to the list important probable questions for Prelims 2009 for Art and Culture Section as well history section which I have yet to begin.
